Join us for a lecture on Oppression in the Food System with former NFL defensive lineman David Carter, aka The 300 Pound Vegan. David will explore the history of inequality built into our current food systems, how this inequality is negatively impacting people’s lives and propose some possible solutions. Come out and experience an evening of delicious vegan food and important information about how we can bring about justice in our food systems. You don’t want to miss this!! Who makes the meanest, most delicious vegan crabcake in Baltimore? Come find out and help us crown the winner at Thrive Baltimore’s first annual Vegan Crabcake Cookoff! Tickets include samples of all the crabcakes, sides, a drink, and one vote. Preregistration is required for this event. Interested in exploring a plant based diet but not sure how to start? Thrive Baltimore has just the program for you! For the month of April every Saturday will include free programming to help those interested in incorporating more plant-based foods into your diet.

Each Saturday will be packed with information and resources that will help support people on their journey towards transitioning to a healthier, kinder, more sustainable way of eating. Already vegan? With so much information and so many resources this program will benefit you as well.
