Description: Join Fluoride Action Network, Energy Justice, Clean Air Baltimore Coalition and Thrive Baltimore for an event to promote clean air in Baltimore City. Dr. Paul Connett will provide remarks on environmental justices issues that impact Baltimore – including trash incineration, poor air quality, zero waste efforts and water fluoridation.
Dr. Connett is a Professor Emeritus in Environmental Chemistry at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. He has been the silent leader behind environmental justice issues for the past three decades in communities across the globe. His deep scientific knowledge has helped catalyze lasting change by moving the needle on environmental health outcomes. As a twice-published author – Dr. Connett understands the science of controversial issues with severe public health impacts. A solutions-driven change agent, Dr. Connett can articulate alternative systems and infrastructure to long-standing inequities rooted in environmental racism. You will not want to miss his remarks and this event!

Parking: Street parking is avaiable, plus $3 lot parking at a garage on North Charles between West Lanvale and West Lafayette Streets. Ask for a parking discount pass when you leave Thrive.
